Our Story

Mosaic Church was formed in October of 2020 when a few families, along with a team of young professionals, came together with a desire to see the biblical Jesus made non-ignorable in the city of Provo. Since then, the Lord, in His grace, has worked mightily through this community of believers to see joyful, passionate, disciples of Jesus Christ boldly live for the sake of the Gospel in our city.

With less than 0.5% of Provo professing faith in the biblical Jesus, we intentionally planted Mosaic Church in the heart of its downtown to see the power of the Gospel transform the most unchurched city in North America.

As a local church, we are led by a team of pastor-elders who desire “to equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:12) as we all seek to live on mission in Provo, in Utah County, and in the state of Utah as a whole.

At Mosaic Church, our desire is for our community to be marked by Gospel Fluency, Great Commission Intentionality, Radical Generosity, Counter-Cultural Unity, and Living Peaceably.

Ultimately, our vision as a local church is to plant more autonomous local churches in Utah County, so that the Good News of Jesus might be heard by the profound number of those in our community that have never heard the Gospel. Disciples of Jesus are called to be disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), and thus we believe that the healthiest churches are those who desire to produce more healthy churches.
